CONOR GRANT

"Grit" best describes the trait that drives Conor forward, the challenges he has faced have only strengthened his resilience, determination, and commitment. He has a never-ending will to win and is working to be the best version of himself both on and off the track. When not racing, he focuses on his education and fitness. He also gives back to the sport he loves, volunteering with the Wexford Motor Club Youth Academy. This young driver training program has achieved much success and is ranked among the best in Ireland.

WEXFORD MOTOR CLUB YOUTH ACADEMY 

The Youth Academy was established in 2015 with the aim of encouraging young people into motorsport. The Academy aims to train the young drivers over the course of a year giving them a strong grounding in the world of motorsport both on and off the track. 

Conor had the privilege of volunteering as a driver coach in 2024 and found it to be a very personally rewarding and fun experience, so much so he plans to continue to participate in 2025 and onwards. 

Conor works with the Wexford Motor Club Youth Academy , giving the students the benefit of his vast karting experience. He was also a member of our end of year student assessment team. I have always been impressed by Conor’s passion for his sport and his determination to succeed. He has been great with the younger kids in the Academy and no matter what we have asked of him he has risen to the occasion. We are delighted that Conor has committed to work with the Academy again in 2026 and want to wish him every success as he builds the next exciting stage of his motorsport career.
